What is Information Governance as a Service?

Oyster IMS is pleased to be at the forefront of innovative delivery models including being able to deliver all projects via the Information Governance-as-a-Service (IGaaS) model. The IGaaS offering is a competitively priced annual retained IG service with pricing based on the size of your organisation and the areas you wish to cover.

Under IGaaS you are allocated a named senior Oyster IMS consultant to lead and manage the service.

IGaaS can be customized to your requirements but will usually include:

An Initial Information Governance Maturity Assessment and creation of Action Plan
One day of consultant time on-site per month to review progress on the Action Plan and advise on any amendments
Review of categorization, classification and retention landscape with a set of recommendations for implementing best practice
High-Level Privacy and Data Protection Assessment
At least two IG Focused Reviews throughout the year
(Cyber, eDisclosure, Repository, Storage or Compliance)
Significant discounts on any additional Oyster IMS resource requirements
Access to an IG Helpline operated through the Oyster IMS Service Desk with contracted service levels
