The VAS Framework replaces the Data and Application Solutions Framework (RM3821, DAS).
Oyster IMS has been privileged to deliver software-led solutions under the outgoing DAS framework from 2019 to 2023, supporting our public sector clients with software licences, app-related consultancy services, software support and maintenance. We are therefore honoured to be an approved supplier under the new VAS framework.
Vertical Application Solutions (VAS) offers a range of vertical-specific software solutions for public sector customers. Its purpose is to provide customers with access to suppliers who are specialists in software solutions for that market.
As a specialist in software solutions, consulting and support services, Oyster will be focussed on the specific area of Business Applications Solutions, known as Lot 1. This will see Oyster providing a range of solution-essential hardware and professional services, such as a cloud server for a case management solution, integration with an existing records management system, with cloud-hosted and on-premise software, or a combination of both, under one agreement.
Most solutions can be tailored to answer a specific customer need, however all software Oyster provides under VAS will be Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS). Oyster is fully enabled and experienced in all relevant associated services include identification, design and configuration, implementation, data take-on, migration, integration & security, backed with our user training, maintenance & support services.
